Lake Garda: Approximately 215 kilometres from Treviso, Lake Garda is the largest of the Italian lakes. This romantic location has provided the inspiration for poets and painters since Roman times, and is arguably one of the prettiest locations not just in Italy, but anywhere else in Europe. The palatial hotels, palm-tree-lined esplanades and cypress and lemon groves contribute to this idyllic setting, creating a Mediterranean holiday feel.
Venice: Capital of Northern Italy’s Veneto region, the UNESCO World Heritage City of Venice is approximately 40 kilometres from Treviso; and is an absolute must-see tourist destination. With no cars or roadways, just canals, gondolas and stunning architecture that seemingly rises out of the water; there is nowhere else in the world quite like Venice.
Bassano del Grappa: With Veneto-style arcaded streets and piazzas interspersed with wooden balconies, this charming town has a decidedly Austrian feel. Just 50 kilometres from Treviso, the town is best known for its strong grappa liqueur and the covered wooden bridge designed by Andrea Palladio in 1569, which spans the Brenta River. Apart from attractive streets, beautiful architecture and the stunning surrounding countryside, the town has a wide selection of museums; including one displaying local ceramics (something else that Bassano del Grappa is renowned for).
